Early Life
26 years old, Keke Palmer (Lauren Keyana Palmer) was born in Harvey, to Sharon and Larry Palmer. Keke started her career at the age of 5, singing in a church in her hometown of Robbins, Illinois. Her mother teaches children while her father in a polyurethane company, a plastics manufacturing company.
Career
Palmer auditioned for ‘The Lion King’ in 2002, at the early age of 9. And two years later, in 2004 she starred in Barbershop 2: Back in Business. In 2005, she worked for television film Knights of the South Bronx, a television film directed by Allen Hughes.
In the year 2006, she performed at the Home Depot Center in California. Additionally, she voiced in the film ‘Unstable Fables: Tortoise vs. Hare’ in 2008. Palmer was seen in the leading role in Jump In!
It was until 2013; she then focused her career on Television. Keke hosted her own television show- daytime talk show on BET called Just Keke. On October 25, 2015, she released her first solo, “I Don’t Belong to You.”
