For her portrayal of Mildred Loving in Loving, she received several major nominations from the Academy Awards, British Academy Film Awards, and the Golden Globe Awards, and won the Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actress. In 2020, Negga was ranked number 10 on The Irish Times list of Ireland’s greatest film actors.
