Early Life
Born on 10 November 1989 in Birkenhead, Merseyside, to Christine and David Egerton, Taron is one of the finest actors in Hollywood. He attended Ysgol Penglais School and later went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He has two younger sisters.
His parent divorced when he was very young and he moved to Aberystwyth and lived with his mother, who is a social worker. Taron grew passion for in animation, drawing and making sculptures. He started acting at the age of 15 at youth theatre programme.
Career
Taron started his acting career in 2011, with his role as Liam Jay ITV series Lewis. He starred in Sky1 series The Smoke. He got his breakthrough role from the movie Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Egerton won Best Male Newcomer at Empire Awards for Kingsman: The Secret Service. The movie was a huge success, and he garnered immense popularity for his outstanding work in the movie. And as a result, he signed three movies contract with 20th Century Fox.
In 2012, Taron appeared as Andy in the movie Pop. In 2013, he starred in two movies Hereafter and Testament of Youth, based on the life of an English Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) nurse, Vera Brittian. In the year 2015, Taron starred in British-French biographical crime thriller film, Legend.
