Winston Duke Early Life
Duke was conceived in Tobago and moved to the U.S. with his mom, Cora Pantin, and sister when he was nine years of age. He moved on from Brighton High School in Rochester, New York in 2004. He went to University at Buffalo, getting a Bachelor of Arts in Theater, and proceeded onward to Yale School of Drama where he got a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Acting, graduating 2013.
Winston Duke Career
Duke began acting in theater preparations for Portland Stage Company and Yale Repertory Theater before being cast in Person of Interest. At Yale, he becomes a close acquaintance with individual on-screen character Lupita Nyong’o, with whom he would later star in Black Panther and Us.
Winston came back to his local Trinidad and Tobago in 2012 for the theater creation of An Echo in the Bone featuring close by entertainer Taromi Lourdes Joseph and coordinated by individual Yale alumna Timmia Hearn Feldman.
Duke is the part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War having been played the role of M’Baku. In 2019, Duke featured in the blockbuster blood and gore movie Us, coordinated by Jordan Peele.
